Secret Santa

I signed up for a Secret Santa through a blog this year and am very grateful to have had a chance to be part of it and for Amy and Georgie for setting up over 100 people! I didn't think I was going to be able to be part of it, I lost my job and am so so broke but I managed to come up with something and I hope my person likes it! (It's tough shopping for someone you don't know!!)

I got the box on the perfect day, my finals were done and I just got home to relax and saw the box on the steps. Not going to lie, my coat wasn't even off when I ripped through that tape. Thank you Secret Santa :)

Sorry about the quality - my camera took a turn for the worst over the summer and I've had no money to replace it... you'd think a blackberry would produce better pictures!

5 under 20 - Alloy

I haven't done a real relevant post in quite some time and I apologize. I also haven't done a "5 under" either and with budgeting for the holidays I figured it was the perfect time!

Alloy used to be one of my favorite catalogs in high school and then I just kind of forgot about it. I recently received a catalog in the mail at my parents and was browsing through it and they actually have a lot of things I would definitely wear - and cheap to boot!

I love love love cardigans. Especially the trendy boyfriend style cardigans that you can pair with all those summer tanks you can't bear to put away for the winter! Wear this either with jeans or a dress - it works for most everything!

This top is super cheap and available in 19 different colors!!
I'm a sucker for a good deal.. especially when it comes to heels. Which is exactly why I bought these for only $14.99!!
I really love berets this year for winter. I already have 7 of them! I won't be purchasing this one since it hasn't even snowed yet and I had an abundance of them, but you should!

Secret santa gift ideas

Confession: I've had a really rough month and just completely forgot about the Secret Santa thing. What are some things that you guys have been wanting? I need some ideas.. quick! What do you hope your SSS will be sending you? :)

Going over my posts I realize my person probably doesn't know much about me.. here we go. I'm Tiffani and a senior at FIDM. I'm a visual communications major with hopes of someday being a stylist for the stars. I'm originally from Michigan and here for the holidays so that's where I ask you to send my package :)

I know it sounds lame but fashion is my passion. My love for it tends to distract me from my everyday mundane life so I decided to create this blog so I could have a little bit more of my love in my life everyday (and I'm sorry I haven't kept up with this like the beginning!). My hope with this was to help all of you to be able to afford the things that stars are wearing and look just like them, because believe me, it's possible! I guess that doesn't really help but it's a bit of my background.. just know I love everything and the better question would be what am I not interested in!

“Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.” -Oscar Wilde

I broke my camera I'm sorry :( I can't show off how good it looks!Later that week I was also notified of winning a giftcard to Lowe's from Attractive Home Design for Less. How lucky am I?! I just received it today so I have yet to use it but I'm thinking I need a change.. my paint my bedroom? It's white but I want some color in my life, maybe pink!!

Greatest Idea EVER?

So I've heard of renting bags and having to return them in a week or what not, but honestly, I like to keep my bags so that idea wasn't the greatest BUT now there is a dress rental site. I was one of those girls in high school that always fell in love with the most expensive prom dresses, homecoming dresses, etc and I wish this site would've been around 16, maybe then I wouldn't be like Katherine Heigl of 27 Dresses... even now I have a closet full of dresses for events and weddings that I'm quite sure I'll never wear again - but now I'll never have to worry again!

Why you ask? RentTheRunway.com allows you to rent that latest catwalk dress you've been eyeing but know you can't afford. Prices range from $50-200 and the dress comes delivered to your door in not one but two sizes just in case! I know I'm not the richest girl out there, but I will certainly be looking like I am now. Hallelujah RTR!
Think I can pull this off at a frat party?

One Pearl

I'm a big fan of pearls and I just recently found my new favorite place to buy them - One Pearl. I was just sent the most fabulous necklace/whatever you want it to be and I'm in love. Not only is the jewelry gorgeous, but they donate 100% of their profits to help improve the lives of children. Look good and help out some kids while you're at it - try getting your significant other to say no to that one. Check out the necklace I now have a privilege of owning... and pretty much wearing everywhere.

You can also wear this piece as a choker, a cuff, a layered look, a belt, looped around your neck... so many possibilities. Check out the site for more beautiful designs. If you're getting married soon, I definitely recommend!

Suburban Riot

You know that I love eco-friendly brands and after reading about the company, Suburban Riot and seeing this.."We’re constantly sourcing sustainable materials, from organic cotton, to recycled polymer based materials. We don’t do it because green is in. We do it so your kids aren’t born with three arms and a tail." ... I was hooked and took a look around. Did you know they design tees for the show "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"?! Go to their site, buy some clothes and also help out the planet - they donate 1% of all sales to the planet.
When choosing this top, I didn't even notice it had their signature asymmetrical v-neck, but I love it! I wore this today to class and several people asked me who designed it - so unique! It's also 100% organic cotton and SO soft.
I also love this Black Turtleneck Mini - so simple but definitely a staple that needs to be in every closet! It's also over 50% off... only $39.99!

Anique Michelle

I'm really sorry I suck at posting lately. I have tons of product reviews to do and have a list of blog post ideas and I promise I will be getting to comments soon as well. I just had to tell you about Anique Michelle. She is a former fashion student at CSULB and wanted to put her education and love of fashion to use - and I'm thankful! She buys gorgeous products wholesale then offers them to us at great prices! Check out a few things below AND a discount code.

Only $12!!! That top is so cheap & I absolutely love it. I also love the one below that I wore last night and got so many compliments about! My favorite thing about this brand is that not only is everything so affordable and still looks high-end, but she donates part of the profits to charity! She's offering up a special 20% off to my readers so make sure to enter "tiffanis" at checkout!

My top - but pictures don't do it justice nor can you feel how soft it is!! Only $25!

Stay tuned and I'll post the winner of the giveaway tomorrow! :)

Oh Lauren

I've really been slacking lately with this and I apologize - I'm currently on a study tour and extremely busy and sometimes don't have internet access. I just had to first of all tell you guys my giveaway ends tomorrow!!!!! Go!!! Secondly, you should know by now how much I adore Lauren Conrad, she was one of the reasons I chose FIDM, hoping I would have her in my classes and become her best friend... sad but true haha. So when I heard about her line at Kohl's to fit all budgets, I was super excited... and now it's been unveiled, and I must say, I'm disappointed.

When first visiting the site and seeing her pretty face and cute outfit, I was like, YES! Then you click onto the designs... was I just transferred onto a Talbot's or a site for someone 45 and over? I was confused, everything is boring! They're just plain basics that I could find anywhere for probably cheaper.. Obviously she didn't spend enough time at FIDM.. come back here girl and I'll show you the light!

And where's the "party" dresses she promised?! This might be cute but really, $50? Yuck.

I really had faith Lauren but I just cannot buy any of this. I will try Whitney's line.. next see maybe what Stephanie has to offer, but this stuff is just not ok... try a different line of work.
